WOW - Women On Waves
Summer 2008 Group Paddle Series
This will be a series of three group paddles hosted in three different locations in the Pacific Northwest. Each paddle will be 6-9 miles, held at a social pace, followed by lunch at at favorite local restaurant.
June 21: Bellingham WA hosted by Heather Nelson.
July 19: Seattle, WA hosted by Tracy Landboe and Traci Cole.
August 16: BC? we'd like to hold a paddle in BC, preferably in the Vancouver area. Any volunteers to host?
All paddles start at 10am. Please note that you must provide your own boat, paddle, and PFD.
Who's behind WOW?
Four paddlers from the Pacific NW decided they wanted to do something
to increase the numbers of women participating in the sport. Why should
the boys have all the fun?
