Getting to the start

From Tacoma: Follow Highway 16 going toward Bremerton, take the Sedgwick Exit, turning right, turn left on Long Lake Rd., turn right on Mile Hill Rd., Left On Clochester Dr., go thru Manchester, go up hill, make a quick right on Beach Dr., drive until you see the Manchester State Park sign (Hilldale Rd.), turn right.

From Seattle: Take the West Seattle Ferry (Fauntleroy Ferry) to Southworth, go straight off the ferry onto Southworth Dr., follow Southworth Dr. to Manchester turn-off (Colchester Dr.) turn right, go thru Manchester, go up hill, make a quick right on Beach Dr., drive until you see the Manchester State Park sign (Hilldale Rd.) turn right.

Starts at Manchester State Park, goes around Blake Island and returns.

Entry Fees

Boats of 1 or 2 competitors:
     $8 per person for: members of Sound Rowers; members of Masters Rowing Association (must provide number); or Juniors (18 and under).
     $18 per person for non-members, non-Juniors

Boats of 3+ competitors:
     $8 per person

Camp Sites

Manchester State Park. Camping reservations can be made by calling Reservations Northwest at 1-800-452-5687 up to 11 months ahead of time. All the campsites are on the hill in the woods above the beach. Walking distance to the start. See the Washington State Park web page at www.parks.wa.gov.
